Advocacy & enforcement - seminar with Deputy President Dean and FWO Legal Counsel

The Committee has organised an afternoon webinar with Deputy President Lyndall Dean and Janine Dennis from the Fair Work Ombudsman.

3pm: Deputy President Dean will present a how to (and how not to) session on advocacy in the Fair Work Commission. This will be a helpful session for those who may become involved in Commission proceedings either as a witness or a representative.

4pm: Janine Dennis, the Executive Director of Legal at the Fair Work Ombudsman will speak about how the Ombudsman uses the enforcement tools in its arsenal to improve compliance culture within industry.

Originally planned as an in person seminar and cocktail function, COVID-19 has thwarted our plans once more. We hope you will be able to join us for this online session, and we look forward to returning to in person functions soon.
